The following free training sessions will be for all players interested in Michigan Fire Juniors for the 2017/2018 season. Players should attend the time for the age group they would be trying out for in June and playing starting in the fall of 2017.  

All trainings are open to all players, not just Michigan Fire Juniors Players.  These trainings are a great way to meet some Michigan Fire coaches and see if our club is a good fit for your child.

Goalkeeping training will run alongside regular trainings on all days.

MICHIGAN FIRE JUNIORS YOUTH SOCCER TRYOUTS
The Fire Juniors is the official youth club affiliate of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.  

-A professional Major League Soccer approach with a local focus:

Fire Juniors are supported by a professional MLS structure while maintaining a local focus that meets the needs of youth players in the community. As part of the Chicago Fire Player Development Program, Fire Juniors players (boys and girls) have access to unparalleled opportunities for soccer development.

-Individually designed player development programs for boys & girls:

The dual ‘premier’ and ‘select’ programming gives youth players an opportunity to be placed in the right environment to maximize their individual player development potential.

-Competitive and value driven pricing. Introducing a partnership with the ‘Positive Coaching Alliance’ (PCA):

Fire Juniors membership fees include- training and games led by professional coaches; innovative ‘PCA’ coach philosophy; ‘player pass’ uniform ordering and college recruitment support.

-Announcing the Emerging Talent Program (etp) for 2017/18:

The ETP is a series of player and team development initiatives designed to meet the attitudes, desires and aspirations of today’s top talent across the Fire Player Development Program. ETP is supplementary and in addition to a players existing club provision, and includes the National Elite ID Program for boys & girls born in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006.

- Michigan Fire Juniors

The Michigan Fire Juniors (MFJ) offers a wide range of player centered options around each player’s complete development. MFJ has developed some of the most comprehensive technical programs in the United States, highlighted by our TOTAL Technical hour thats recognized by the NSCAA as a National Top 10 Best Practice. This program offers MFJ players a chance to enhance technical skills at NO additional fee. This is just one example of our clubs commitment to the technical development of our players.
