Mindy Peterson

Mindy has played the game of soccer since the age of 5, including 4 years as a starter on HS varsity and on scholarship at Trinity International University for 4 years of college. She was selected for ODP her freshman year of high school and earned all conference, all regional and all state awards during her 4 years, including highest number of goals & assists of all time in one season for her HS, her junior year.

After college, Mindy began teaching 4th grade in Lake Forest, IL, while coaching & training teams for the Trevian soccer club. While earning her “D” license, she also took teams on a European soccer tour in France.  After a move to Michigan, she continued to teach and coach for a couple of clubs until she & her husband decided to move to Florida. There she took over the varsity girl’s team as head coach for Northside Christian HS in St. Petersburg, FL. She remained head coach for 3 years until her family moved back to Michigan and they settled there with their 3 kids.  Mindy is super stoked to be joining the MJF club this year and is coaching the ‘05 premier girls team. She loves kids and is committed to helping develop better soccer players with solid character.
