Michigan Summer Champions Cup

We are thrilled to share that we have agreed to enter the Summer Champions Cup, starting Summer 2019. The program which runs through June and July is designed as an alternative to Super Y but with some additional benefits that we believe will be attractive to our families. It is important to us that we offer summer programming within the club for the players that want it, it is also vitally important to us that our families have an opportunity to enjoy their summer, doing so by ensuring that your weekends remain your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How are we forming teams? We are looking to make teams as competitive as possible during the tryout process. That means we may have to combine teams and move players up an age group in order to suit their individual development. The process for forming teams may extend past tryouts and teams will be finalized by late January.
  2. We are away for ThanksGiving weekend, is there a make-up tryout? We will not be offering a make-up tryout but, if players are interested in playing in the MCC we would ask that they register for tryouts and make a comment in the notes section.
  3. When will games be played and how many? Tuesdays and Thursdays and usually 8 games plus a final.
  4. How many times will teams train? Monday and Wednesday depending on game schedule.
  5. Is it only exclusively available for MFJ players? This program is for the benefit of all MFJ players. However if players would like to invite friends to play with we would like them to attend tryouts.
  6. What is the cost? $350 compared to $550 for SuperY.
  7. How we will accommodate games on Tuesday and Thursdays? Kick-off times will be as late as possible in order to allow players and parents time to attend.
